6.1 Systems of Linear Equations

Graphics Approach: Graph equations and solution is point of intersection; (x, y)

Substitution Approach: Solve for one variable in terms of another in one of the equation and substitute in other so have one variable in an equation to solve.

Addition Approach: Multiply one of the equation so the coefficient on one of the variable cancel out when the equations is added; solve for the other variable after cancellation.

6.7 Graphs of Linear Inequalities

Graph Inequalities for all equations being mindful of boundaries:

Find intersection of regions where half-planes are common - or find where half-planes intersect for all inequalities.
